In Sanskrit the Primary Series is called Yoga Chikitsa, which means Yoga Therapies. In addition to taking an in-depth look at the Ashtanga Yoga method, which can be a therapeutic system if taught the correct way by empowering the student. When one is empowered in their asana practice, they can really begin showing up for themselves on the mat.
In this course, I will help you find what works for YOU in each posture - your so-called "sweet spot." We will find the right adaptation for your body so that you can grow your practice over time, safely and without pain.
Each week we will take a portion of the Primary Series and study each posture and its variations.. By the end of the six week course, we will complete the entire series in a way that is accessible to each student.
